BJP Gains Ground in Odisha: Leading in 19 of 21 Lok Sabha Seats

The BJP has taken a commanding lead in 19 out of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, according to election officials. The BJD holds one seat, and the Congress is leading in another constituency. Union Minister and BJP candidate Dharmendra Pradhan is securing the Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 85,917 votes against his closest BJD rival Pranab Prakash Das.
In Puri, BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra is ahead by 68,757 votes over his nearest competitor Arup Patnaik of the BJD. Bhubaneswar’s Lok Sabha constituency sees BJP candidate Aparajita Sarangi with a lead of 21,648 votes over BJD’s Manmath Routray.
BJP's national vice-president Baijayant Panda is leading in Kendrapara, outpacing his closest BJD rival Ansuman Mohanty by 12,990 votes. The BJP is making advances in Berhampur, Aska, Puri, Jagtsinghpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nabarangpur, and Kalahandi Lok Sabha constituencies. However, Congress's Saptagiri Ulaka is leading the charge in Koraput by 51,119 votes over BJD’s Kausalya Hikaka.
