Narayan Rane's Historic Win: BJP Blooms in Konkan

In a historic turn of events, Union Minister and BJP candidate Narayan Rane declared, 'Lotus has finally bloomed in Konkan,' as he seems poised to clinch the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra.

This win is particularly notable as it's the first time BJP has secured a foothold in the Konkan region. Running against Shiv Sena (UBT) nominee Vinayak Raut, Rane is currently leading by over 58,000 votes, according to the latest EC data.

Rane, who garnered 4,14,934 votes compared to Raut's 3,56,304, expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing his victory to the PM's support and pledging to focus on the development of the Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts.
