Hemant Savara's Landslide Victory in Palghar Lok Sabha Elections
Hemant Savara, BJP candidate, secured a significant victory over Bharti Kamdi of Shiv Sena (UBT) in Palghar, Maharashtra, winning by a margin of 1,83,306 votes. Savara polled 6,01,244 votes against Kamdi's 4,17,938. Other candidates included Rajesh Patil (BVA) and Bharat Vanga (BSP), with independent Meena Bhad also contesting.

In a significant political development, BJP candidate Hemant Savara triumphed over Shiv Sena (UBT) rival Bharti Kamdi by a margin of 1,83,306 votes in the Palghar Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday. Savara, succeeding his late father and veteran BJP leader Vishnu Savara, secured 6,01,244 votes, overshadowing Kamdi's 4,17,938 votes.
Additionally, Rajesh Patil of the Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) garnered 2,54,517 votes, while Bharat Vanga of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and independent candidate Meena Bhad received 15,465 and 14,235 votes respectively. The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi's Vijaya Mhatre secured 10,936 votes.
Notably, 23,385 voters opted for the NOTA (none of the above) option in this election. Rajendra Gavit, who contested and won the 2019 election on a Shiv Sena ticket, has since rejoined the BJP.
