A Raja Triumphs in Nilgiris, DMK's Winning Streak Continues

DMK leader A Raja emerged victorious in the Nilgiris Lok Sabha constituency, defeating Central Minister L Murugan by a margin of 2,40,585 votes. DMK also recorded wins in Dharmapuri and Thanjavur. Sowmiya Anbumani of PMK lost to DMK's A Mani, while S Murasoli clinched victory over DMDK's P Sivanesan.

DMK stalwart and former Union Minister A Raja scored a decisive victory in the Nilgiris Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu, defeating Central Minister L Murugan with a margin of 2,40,585 votes, as reported by the Election Commission. Raja, who maintained a clear lead from the start, secured 4,73,212 votes, leaving Murugan with 2,32,627 votes. Meanwhile, AIADMK's D Logesh Tamilselvan finished third, garnering 2,20,230 votes.

In the Dharmapuri constituency, DMK candidate A Mani emerged victorious by defeating Sowmiya Anbumani of PMK, an ally of the BJP, by a margin of 21,300 votes. Mani secured 4,32,667 votes. Additionally, DMK's S Murasoli trounced DMDK candidate P Sivanesan in Thanjavur, capturing 5,02,245 votes, outpacing his opponent by a whopping 3,19,583 votes.

The results highlight DMK's strong performance across multiple key constituencies, reaffirming its political stronghold in the region.
