NDA’s Future in Limbo as Modi Faces Ally Dependence

The Trinamool Congress claims that the new NDA government faces an uncertain future, with Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi reliant on allies to form a stable administration. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh criticized Modi for shifting from self-sufficiency to dependency on allies, and highlighted alleged failures of the BJP-led government’s divisive politics.

The Trinamool Congress on Friday declared that the new NDA government faces an 'absolutely uncertain' future, due to Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi's reliance on allies for stability. TMC leader Kunal Ghosh criticized Modi's shift from promoting 'aatmanirbharta' (self-sufficiency) to becoming 'paranirbhar' (dependent) on allies.

'Feedback from Parliament corridors about the demands of pro-government allies suggests Modi will face challenges ahead,' Ghosh stated. 'The future of this NDA government is absolutely uncertain.'

He added that the electorate had rejected the 'discriminatory politics' of the previous BJP-led government. 'Modi is diverting attention from the fact that people disapproved of the Centre’s divisive politics and communal polarization,' Ghosh alleged.

Earlier, Modi emphasized in New Delhi his commitment to unanimity in forming the next government, describing the NDA as an organic alliance prioritizing 'nation first'. Key allies, including TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, affirmed Modi as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance, advocating a balance between regional and national interests.
