A constellation of regional leaders will converge on Delhi as Narendra Modi takes oath for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister this Sunday. The swearing-in ceremony will see attendance from distinguished guests including Sri Lanka's President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Maldives' Mohamed Muizzu, Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bhutan's Tshering Tobgay, Nepal's Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', and Mauritius' Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.

Seychelles' Vice President Ahmed Afif is also confirmed to attend. The high-profile event will be followed by a Banquet at Rashtrapati Bhavan, hosted by President Droupadi Murmu.

This significant gathering underscores the importance of India's 'Neighbourhood First' policy and 'SAGAR' (Security and Growth for All in the Region) vision. Modi, along with his Council of Ministers, will be sworn in following the National Democratic Alliance's remarkable win in the Lok Sabha elections, where the opposition INDIA bloc also showed a stronger performance than expected.
