TDP's Support Fuels Quota Demand for Muslims, Marathas, Dhangars

Congress leader Naseem Khan urged the BJP-led NDA government to provide quotas for Marathas, Dhangars, and Muslims based on social backwardness. He emphasized that if Andhra Pradesh can offer such quotas, Maharashtra should follow suit. The BJP, with TDP and JD(U) support, is set for its third term under Narendra Modi.

In a fervent appeal, Congress leader Naseem Khan has called on the BJP-led NDA government to deliver quotas for Marathas, Dhangars, and Muslims, emphasizing the longstanding social backwardness of these communities.

Khan highlighted that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has already committed to providing a Muslim quota and urged Maharashtra to adopt similar provisions.

Given the BJP’s current alliances with TDP and JD(U), the pressing demand comes just as Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi prepares to take oath for a third consecutive term.
