Israel's Daring Hostage Rescue Operation Amid Gaza Conflict

Israel conducted its largest hostage rescue operation since the latest war with Hamas began, saving four individuals from central Gaza amid heavy conflict. Israelis celebrated as the army freed Noa Argamani, 26; Almog Meir Jan, 22; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 41, in a daring daytime raid on two locations in Nuseirat, despite fierce resistance. The rescued hostages were airlifted for medical evaluations and emotional reunions with their families after being held captive for 246 days.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed the continuation of these operations until all hostages are liberated. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant lauded the operation's planning and execution. Meanwhile, the toll on Palestinian lives prompted international condemnation, with calls from neighboring Egypt, Jordan, and EU representatives for an immediate end to the violence.
