Alka Lamba Criticizes Modi's Majority: A Victory for Democracy

In a striking commentary, Congress leader Alka Lamba declared Narendra Modi a 'weak prime minister,' pointing to BJP's failure to secure a majority in the latest Lok Sabha elections. Lamba asserted that the opposition successfully safeguarded democracy from what she described as Modi's autocratic tendencies.

During her interaction with Mahila Congress leaders and workers, Lamba emphasized that Modi's inability to secure 400 seats marks a significant setback, restricting his capacity to alter the Constitution. 'This is our victory,' she claimed, noting that the opposition bloc, INDIA, even managed to triumph in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reflecting on the election results in Jammu and Kashmir, Lamba remarked on BJP's lost ground, as they refrained from fielding a candidate in Kashmir due to historical grievances. She also indicated that the decision on maintaining pre-poll alliances rests with Congress's top leadership.
