PM Modi Engages with IAS Trainees on Nation's Growth and Governance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 181 IAS Officer Trainees of the 2022 batch, emphasizing the importance of their roles in contributing to India's growth and positively impacting citizens' lives. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with 181 IAS Officer Trainees of the 2022 batch, who are serving as Assistant Secretaries in various ministries and departments. The meeting, which took place at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi, was described as a “wonderful interaction” by the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the interaction, PM Modi emphasized the importance of contributing to India’s growth trajectory and making a positive difference in citizens' lives. He recalled his previous engagement with the officers during the Aarambh programme in 2022 and highlighted the significance of experiential learning through the Assistant Secretary programme.

PM Modi urged the young officers to adopt a proactive approach to governance, quality manufacturing, and improving citizens’ quality of life. Discussing various government schemes like Lakhpati Didi and PM Awas Yojana, he stressed the need for a saturation approach to ensure social justice and prevent discrimination.

Highlighting the mantra of 'Nation First', he encouraged the trainees to move beyond their past accolades and focus on future achievements. Senior officials including Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Personnel), P K Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Rajiv Gauba, Cabinet Secretary, and AK Bhalla, Secretary (Home and DoPT) were also present during the interaction.
