Gunfire Erupts at Trump Rally, Spreads Panic
Gunfire disrupted a rally for Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, causing panic and minor injuries to the former president. The shooter and an audience member were killed, with another attendee critically wounded. The incident adds tension to an already heated election campaign between Trump and Joe Biden.
Gunfire erupted at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, sending the crowd into panic and injuring the Republican presidential candidate. Despite the chaos, Trump emerged, with blood on his cheek and ear, and defiantly pumped his fist before security rushed him to safety. The incident took place in Butler, Pennsylvania, approximately 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Live footage showed blood on Trump's right cheek and ear, with the suspected shooter killed along with an audience member. Another person is in critical condition, according to Butler County district attorney, as reported by a Washington Post journalist on social media.
The shooting occurred as Trump started speaking, just months ahead of his election rematch with President Joe Biden. Trump is currently being evaluated at a local medical facility and thanked law enforcement for their swift response. Secret Service has confirmed that Trump is safe, and an investigation is underway.
