Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has accused the BJP of conspiring to unseat the elected state government. Speaking in Bilaspur, Sukhu urged the BJP to respect the public's mandate and adopt a constructive opposition role after Congress won two assembly seats in recent bypolls.

Sukhu thanked Himachal Pradesh's residents for their continued support of the Congress government's policies and revealed plans for a new tourism complex in Bilaspur worth Rs 33.75 crore. The complex will feature a hotel, food court, and recreational zone and is expected to be completed in two years.

Highlighting the importance of tourism to the state's economy, Sukhu announced additional plans for integrating water sports activities at Gobind Sagar Lake and future developments costing Rs 150 crore. He vowed to make Himachal Pradesh a premier tourist destination, enhancing infrastructure and facilities to attract more visitors.
