Congress leaders P L Punia and Rajani Patil arrived in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday to scrutinize the party's poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections held in April-May.
The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has established a two-member panel, consisting of Rajya Sabha MP Rajani Patil and ex-MP P L Punia, to investigate the party's defeat in all four parliamentary seats in the state.
The two leaders are scheduled to meet with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) president Pratibha Singh, as well as other party officials and candidates from the four constituencies on Monday and Tuesday.
