Amid heightened political tensions, the Kremlin confirmed on Monday that President Vladimir Putin had not reached out to Donald Trump following the recent assassination attempt on the Republican U.S. presidential candidate.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov addressed concerns about Putin's security, stating that the Russian leader maintains robust protection levels and that all necessary precautions are being observed.
Although the Kremlin does not attribute the attack to the current U.S. administration, it criticized the prevailing environment in the U.S., claiming it had contributed to the incident.
