In a high-intensity clash, Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari and NSUI activists sustained injuries as police employed water cannons and tear gas to disperse a protest march heading to the Chief Minister's residence.

The NSUI organized the march to decry multiple issues, including the nursing college scam, the NEET paper leak, and the Agneepath scheme. Senior Congress leaders and MLAs joined the rally. MP NSUI president Ashutosh Chouksey confirmed he received stitches after being injured by police lathi charge.

Attempts to breach police barricades near the Congress headquarters led to the use of tear gas and water cannons. Multiple arrests were reported, with protesters later released on bond. NSUI coordinator Ravi Parmar criticized the police's high-handedness, stating that they will file complaints against police actions and the implicated MP Minister Vishwas Sarang.
