During a UN Security Council Open Debate on the Middle East, India condemned the terror attacks by Hamas militants on Israel and the continuous loss of civilian lives. India urged for an immediate, full, and complete ceasefire, stressing the need for humanitarian assistance and unrestricted access to essential services in Gaza.
India also called for the unconditional release of all hostages, appreciating the roles played by Qatar and Egypt. Maintaining its long-standing position, India supported a two-state solution for peaceful coexistence between Israel and Palestine, highlighting its significant developmental assistance to Palestine over the years.
