Traffic Advisory: Delhi Protests Disrupt Commute at ITO

The Delhi Police have issued a traffic advisory due to a political party's protest at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg on Saturday. Commuters are advised to avoid ITO Chowk, Minto Road, and nearby areas from 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM. The Aam Aadmi Party is protesting outside the BJP headquarters over tree cutting in Delhi.

The Delhi Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory, warning that traffic will be disrupted at ITO due to a political party's protest at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) Marg, according to officials.

In a post on X, the police urged commuters to avoid routes leading to ITO.

''Due to a protest at DDU Marg, traffic will be heavy at ITO Chowk, Minto Road, and adjacent roads. DDU Marg may be closed for vehicular movement from 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM. Please avoid these roads and plan your journey accordingly,'' the police stated on the microblogging platform.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced plans to protest outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters over the ongoing cutting of trees in Delhi.
