A significant two-day-long meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states kicked off on Saturday at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Attendees included Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National President JP Nadda. The meeting, held over nearly four hours, marked a pivotal moment for the party.

This gathering, the largest since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, was presided over by PM Modi. High-profile leaders like Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, Goa CM Pramod Sawant, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami were in attendance alongside Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his deputies Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak.

Sources revealed that the meeting featured congratulatory remarks for PM Modi and in-depth discussions on state-level government schemes. Many states presented their initiatives, while a review of central government's strategies was also on the agenda. PM Modi solicited feedback from the Chief Ministers and provided guidance on fortifying BJP's influence, especially in non-BJP-ruled states. Upcoming by-elections and assembly elections were also points of strategic discussion.

Additionally, the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were analyzed, alongside schemes like 'Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana' and 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jal'. The meeting of the Minister's Council is set to conclude on Sunday, with all state Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers in attendance.

The proceedings will include a speech by PM Modi and a collective viewing of the Mann Ki Baat program. A photo session of all the leaders with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also take place. (ANI)
