Rahul Gandhi Vows to Break 'Chakravyuh' of Fear in India
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi utilized the 'chakravyuh' metaphor to accuse a group of six, including PM Narendra Modi, of creating a climate of fear. Speaking in the Lok Sabha, he promised that the INDIA bloc would dismantle this 'chakravyuh' and ensure legal guarantees for MSP and a caste census.
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi employed the 'chakravyuh' metaphor to assert that an atmosphere of fear grips India, driven by a group of six, including PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Speaking in Lok Sabha during the Budget 2024-25 debate, Gandhi vowed that the INDIA bloc would break this 'chakravyuh'.
Gandhi argued that the Union Budget aims to bolster big businesses and a political monopoly, thereby undermining India's democratic structure. He cited historical references from the Mahabharat, likening today's challenges to the 'chakravyuh' faced by Abhimanyu, asserting that the current 'padmavyuh' aligns with BJP's symbol.
Gandhi called for a legal guarantee for MSP and a caste census and promised that the INDIA bloc would make these happen. He criticized the government for fostering a climate of unemployment and paper leaks, challenging the youth and small businesses. Displaying a photo from the budget's halwa ceremony, he highlighted the lack of diversity, emphasizing the INDIA bloc's commitment to breaking these 'chakravyuhs'.
