Escalating Conflict: New Strikes and Attacks Deepen Gaza Crisis
Israeli strikes in Gaza have killed 18 people, including displaced Palestinians, while a stabbing attack by a Palestinian killed two in Tel Aviv. The attacks escalate tensions following months of war in Gaza and targeted killings of militants. Civilian casualties continue to rise amid ongoing violence.
Israeli airstrikes early on Sunday resulted in the death of 18 individuals in Gaza, including four people who sought refuge in a displaced Palestinians' tent camp within a hospital complex. Concurrently, a stabbing attack by a Palestinian in a Tel Aviv suburb killed two people.
Tensions have intensified following nearly ten months of conflict in Gaza and the targeted killings of senior militants in Lebanon and Iran last week. These incidents have heightened the threat of vengeance from Iran and its allies, stoking fears of a broader regional war.
In Gaza, an Israeli strike on the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital courtyard killed four people, while another strike in northern Gaza eliminated an entire family. Palestinian militants in Gaza retaliated by firing projectiles at Israeli border communities.
