Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Wayanad in Kerala to review relief and rehabilitation efforts following devastating landslides. Upon his arrival on Saturday, Modi will conduct an aerial survey of the affected regions.
Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, commended Modi's decision to visit and expressed confidence that once the Prime Minister sees the extent of the devastation, he will declare it a national disaster.
Modi is expected to arrive in Kannur at 11 am and will proceed to Wayanad for an aerial survey. He will meet with rescue teams, visit relief camps, and interact with landslide survivors before chairing a review meeting on the ongoing relief operations.
