Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar has announced his party's intention to confront the Congress with 51 probing questions regarding its historical treatment of the city. Shelar disclosed this plan after presiding over a core committee meeting for Mumbai city on Tuesday.
Criticizing the Congress for organizing a rally in Mumbai, Shelar questioned the party's moral stance, especially in light of its past governance. He also pointed out that the Congress now has the Shiv Sena (UBT) as an ally, accusing both parties of trying to hinder Mumbai's development.
'We have monopolized hosting Yatras, and it appears the Congress is now imitating us,' Shelar remarked. 'When the Congress organizes its 'Nyay rally,' we will confront them with these hard-hitting questions.' Shelar further claimed that no other party has been as unjust to Mumbai as the Congress has been during its time in power.
