Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has made it clear that he is not concerned with criticism from various quarters, focusing instead on the opinions of key leaders within the ruling Mahayuti alliance. This stance follows an incident where BJP workers led by Junnar chief Asha Buchake protested against him.
Pawar underscored his focus on important figures such as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena and BJP leaders Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Devendra Fadnavis during his Jan Sanman Yatra in Mumbai. He emphasized that the Nationalist Congress Party, which he leads, had demanded clarity from Fadnavis regarding the behavior of the BJP workers involved.
Additionally, Pawar touched on personal matters, including his regret for making his wife contest against his cousin Supriya Sule in a previous election. He expressed that politics should not interfere with family relationships, acknowledging his mistake and emphasizing love for his sisters.
