Punjab CM Defends Kejriwal Amid Excise Policy Scam Controversy

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann defended Arvind Kejriwal, stating that the investigating agencies have no evidence against the Delhi CM in the alleged excise policy scam. Mann claimed that recent arrests of AAP leaders were attempts to weaken the party but expressed confidence that Kejriwal will be released soon.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has come out in strong defense of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, stating that central investigating agencies have no substantial evidence against him in the alleged excise policy scam.

Speaking to reporters at Nanded airport, Mann highlighted that AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have already been released from jail, expressing confidence that Kejriwal will also be freed soon.

Mann, who was in Maharashtra's Nanded for a program at the Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Gurdwara, claimed the recent arrests of AAP leaders were part of a plot to weaken the party. He emphasized that Kejriwal represents more than just a person but a thought, and vowed to pray for his release.
