Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, the BJP's state in-charge, on Thursday emphasized that the developmental work desired by tribal leader and Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) MP from Banswara, Rajkumar Roat, can only be accomplished under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

'Rajkumar Roat will gradually understand that whatever he wants to do cannot be achieved by aligning with the Congress. Only Prime Minister Modi can fulfill these aspirations,' Agarwal asserted.

'I envision Rajkumar Roat becoming a significant leader and contributing to the development of his area. Our government is in power both in Rajasthan and in Delhi. We all should focus on regional development,' he conveyed to reporters during his visit to Udaipur.

Agarwal highlighted that the tribal community recognizes Modi's efforts in politically, economically, and socially empowering them over the last 75 years, indicating that Roat will eventually acknowledge this reality.

Roat, who has previously served as an MLA twice, clinched a win in the Lok Sabha elections from Banswara, defeating BJP candidate and former Congress minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya by a margin of 2.47 lakh votes. The Congress had controversially left the Banswara seat vacant without a formal alliance with the BAP, leading to their candidate securing fourth place in the polls.

Agarwal, along with BJP state president Madan Rathore, is currently touring Udaipur in preparation for the upcoming by-elections on six assembly seats. These by-elections are pivotal as they cover constituencies like Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Chaurasi, and Salumber. The Salumber seat was vacated following the death of MLA Amrit Lal Meena, while the other five seats were vacated by MLAs elected as MPs in the recent Lok Sabha elections.
