BJP Unveils First List of Candidates for Haryana Assembly Elections

The list also includes several new entrants who joined the party recently, indicating a strategic move to bolster the BJP's chances.

Among the notable candidates are Om Prakash Dhankar from Badli, veteran Anil Vij from Ambala Cantt, and Devender Singh Babli from Tohana. The party also fielded Shruti Choudhry from Tosham and Aarti Singh Rao from Ateli, signaling strong support for women candidates in this election.

The BJP aims for a third consecutive victory in the Haryana polls, set for October 5, but faces stiff competition from a rejuvenated Congress leveraging anti-incumbency sentiments. Vote counting is scheduled for October 8, making this a high-stakes election for the state.
