Prominent Personalities Join BJP in Massive Membership Drive
Several retired bureaucrats, diplomats, and military officers, including India Habitat Centre president Bhaswati Mukherjee, joined BJP during a membership drive. The new members pledged support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership while condemning divisive forces and Rahul Gandhi's recent remarks.

In a significant boost to the BJP's ranks, several retired bureaucrats, diplomats, and military officers officially joined the party during a membership drive on Wednesday.
The event featured the inclusion of 19 prominent personalities, including Bhaswati Mukherjee, president of the India Habitat Centre and a former ambassador, in the presence of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.
Among the new members were former Jharkhand DGP Nirmal, and retired IRS officers Saroj Bala, Gunjan Misra, RK Bajaj, Vijay Singal, Dinesh Chandra Agrawal, and Ashwani Garg, alongside retired Major Generals PC Kharbanda, SVP Singh, GS Kohli, and Shujan Gopal Chatterji. They expressed confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a developed India and pledged to promote BJP's message while condemning divisive rhetoric and recent remarks by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
