'Free, open, inclusive, and prosperous Indo-Pacific is our priority,' he noted at the summit attended by US President Joe Biden, Australian PM Anthony Albanese, and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida.

Modi reiterated that the Quad is not against any nation but supports sovereignty and peaceful resolution of conflicts. 'Our message is clear -- Quad is here to stay, to assist, to partner, and to complement,' he stated. The focus remains on crucial sectors like health security, emerging technologies, and climate action.

The leaders discussed strengthening partnerships in Southeast Asia, the Pacific Islands, and South Asia. They launched several initiatives including a $7.5 million grant for cancer testing in the Indo-Pacific, a maritime training initiative, and the deployment of high-efficiency cooling systems in the region.
