Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday stressed that the road to power in Maharashtra passes through Vidarbha, urging BJP activists to intensify ground-level efforts to win the forthcoming assembly elections.
Speaking to party office-bearers in the presence of Union Minister Amit Shah, Fadnavis highlighted Vidarbha as a stronghold crucial for electoral success. The meeting, which took place at Suresh Bhatt Hall in Reshimbagh, Nagpur, was not open to the media.
BJP sources underscored the importance of activism and outreach in the region. The meeting saw participation from senior leaders and office-bearers from Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana, emphasizing a coordinated effort to regain lost votes from previous elections.
