Amit Shah Sharpens Attacks on Opponents Ahead of J&K Final Polling Phase

Ahead of the final phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Congress, NC, and PDP of supporting terrorism and promised a terror-free region under BJP rule. He highlighted the abrogation of Article 370, pledged statehood restoration, and criticized opponents' agendas.

With the third and final phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections looming next week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched fierce attacks on the Congress, NC, and PDP. Shah accused these dynastic parties of nurturing terrorism, which, according to him, has been eradicated by the BJP and will not be allowed to resurface.

In back-to-back rallies at Chenani and Udhampur Assembly segments, Shah predicted a terror-free Jammu and Kashmir under BJP governance. He warned that a National Conference-Congress alliance would push Pakistan’s agenda if they triumphed in the Union Territory elections, closely watched by the world post-Article 370 abrogation.

Shah reaffirmed Narendra Modi's promise of restoring Jammu and Kashmir's statehood after the elections. He criticized Rahul Gandhi for undermining the strides made under Modi's government, which he claimed included curtailing terrorism and systemic corruption in the region.
