The Haryana assembly elections delivered one of the most intense political clashes as BJP's Devender Chatar Bhuj Attri narrowly secured the Uchana Kalan seat with a marginal lead of just 32 votes over Congress's Brijendra Singh. This victory marked the slimmest margin in the state's recent polls.
While BJP was triumphant in 48 diverse constituencies, ensuring its third consecutive term in governance, Congress also had notable successes. Mamman Khan of the Congress achieved a commanding victory in the Ferozepur Jhirka seat, winning by a margin of 98,441 votes, a stark contrast to Uchana Kalan's tight race.
The elections highlighted the dynamic political landscape in Haryana, as Congress's robust performances in key seats, like Chander Mohan's win in Panchkula, underscored the competitive spirit against a backdrop of BJP's overarching victory.
