Power Shift: Haryana's Dynamic Cabinet Reshuffle

Haryana's new Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, has allocated key portfolios to ministers following the recent state elections. Saini retains control of major departments such as home and finance, while Anil Vij has taken over energy and transport. Other ministers have been assigned various departments including health, education, and agriculture.

In a significant cabinet reshuffle following the Haryana Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has retained control over crucial departments including home and finance. The allocation, announced Sunday, comes just days after Saini took the oath of office alongside his council of ministers.

Anil Vij, who previously managed the home department, has been reassigned to oversee energy and transport, as well as the labour department. Meanwhile, the health department has been handed to Arti Singh Rao, along with medical education, research, and Ayush.

Rao Narbir Singh and other ministers have been entrusted with crucial sectors such as industries, environment, education, and agriculture, reflecting a balanced distribution of state responsibilities among the newly sworn-in government members. The BJP secured a majority in the recent state polls, winning 48 out of 90 seats.
