Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday leveled serious allegations against the ruling Mahayuti, accusing them of leveraging the state's police apparatus against opposition candidates in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections.
Raut criticized Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's administration, claiming it resorts to threats and pressure tactics to target Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates, manifesting its fear of losing power.
Expressing his discontent with the police's inaction, especially after an attack on Sena (UBT) member Advay Hire in Nashik, Raut called for the removal of state DGP Rashmi Shukla and addressed ongoing seat negotiations within the MVA.
