Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Thursday lambasted Union Home Minister Amit Shah over remarks regarding Article 370. Shah stated at a rally that Article 370 would not be restored, even if former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi came back from the dead.
Patole countered this claim, highlighting that Article 370 was scrapped by the BJP-led central government in 2019, and questioned the successes claimed by the abrogation. He criticized the government for failing to end terrorism or adequately safeguard soldiers.
Patole emphasized that Indira Gandhi's presence would have rendered the BJP politically insignificant. He also accused the BJP of fearing Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, labeling him a prominent critic of the saffron party.
