The CPI(M) announced plans to intensify its protest campaigns across West Bengal in response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent remarks on BR Ambedkar in Parliament.
Md Salim, state secretary of the CPI(M), expressed concerns over Bangladesh's current conditions, pledging the party's commitment to safeguarding minority rights both there and globally. Protests are set to escalate locally, alongside a campaign countering alleged polarizing tactics tied to the Bangladesh situation.
From January 12, the CPI(M) will launch protest programs against the 'One Nation One Election' strategy, arguing it undermines federalism. January 23 will be observed as 'National Patriotic Day' to honor Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, while the party maintains its accusations against the TMC for running a corrupt regime.
