Tensions between the DMK and BJP continue to boil over in Tamil Nadu as Deputy Chief Minister and DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin refused to engage in discourse about BJP state chief K Annamalai. This comes amid a bitter exchange over multiple issues, prominently featuring a language policy dispute.
In response to media inquiries aimed at Udhayanidhi, his dismissive remark simply stated, "I am not interested to talk about him." His reticence follows Annamalai's recent relentless critique of the DMK, highlighted by a public challenge over Anna Arivalayam and Annamalai’s incendiary 'GetOutStalin' social media campaign aimed at Chief Minister M K Stalin.
The situation is further inflamed by Tamil Nadu's ongoing opposition to the National Education Policy instituted by the central government, with allegations of halted funds and Hindi impositions adding fuel to the already volatile political climate.
