Amid the high-stakes US-Russia discussions in Riyadh, India has reiterated its unwavering position on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Citing dialogue and diplomacy as essential paths forward, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) underlines that New Delhi's stance remains unchanged despite global political shifts.

Addressing the media, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently advocated for peace, rejecting battlefield solutions. Modi emphasized India's proactive alignment with peace efforts during recent talks with US President Donald Trump, welcoming attempts to end the ongoing conflict.

In other issues, New Delhi is engaging with the Kenyan government to lift diplomatic immunity for a case involving a Kenyan student accused of sexual assault. Meanwhile, dialogue around GE engine deliveries continued during Modi's US visit, alongside discussions on a potential defence partnership and policy changes regarding F-35 aircraft.
