In Telangana's heated political landscape, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has leveled serious allegations against the BRS and BJP, suggesting a secret understanding for the upcoming MLC elections on February 27. Speaking at a campaign meeting in Nizamabad, Reddy singled out Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar's remarks about the Congress's lack of action against BRS leaders, including K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son, citing multiple investigations into past irregularities.

Chief Minister Reddy further accused Sanjay Kumar of delaying the state's efforts to issue a Red Corner Notice for two accused individuals in a phone-tapping case linked to the BRS regime. He claimed this delay was part of a quid pro quo for the BRS's support in the polls. Additionally, Reddy criticized the Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, alleging his role in blocking the expansion of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project while questioning why other projects, like the Musi River redevelopment, remain unfunded.

Illustrating his tenure as an MP, Reddy argued that BJP leaders privately acknowledged Kishan Reddy's tactics to prevent project approvals that could enhance Congress's reputation. Reddy challenged the BJP's accountability and pointed out the BRS's absence from the MLC election, listing various welfare schemes his government has introduced, positioning the contest as a face-off between the Congress and BJP.
