Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharply criticized Lalu Prasad, the leader of RJD, for his derogatory remarks regarding the Maha Kumbh Mela. Modi accused Prasad of insulting the Hindu religion and assured that Bihar's populace will not pardon such disrespect.
During a rally, Modi highlighted the NDA government's commitment to Bihar's development, particularly through initiatives like the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, which supports farmers. He also praised the government's role in increasing milk production and providing subsidized urea.
In a push for infrastructure improvement, Modi announced a Rs 1,100 crore investment for constructing four new bridges in Bihar. Additionally, he revealed plans for a makhana board, aimed at maximizing benefits for local farmers.
