In a sharp rebuke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's recent speech in the State Assembly, Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the ruling party for widespread unemployment and alleged dishonesty among its leaders. He expressed concerns regarding the youth's future, citing a shortage of job opportunities in the past nine years.
"Farmers are suffering losses without adequate government compensation," Akhilesh affirmed, pointing to large-scale unemployment. He questioned the future prospects for youth, stating, "If the youth do not have employment, what lies ahead for our state and country?" Yadav accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of spreading falsehoods about 24-hour electricity supply, stating that locals report power interruptions and inflated bills.
Further, Yadav charged the government with imposing GST on farmers' equipment, causing tool prices to skyrocket. This, he attributed to profiteering intentions. Meanwhile, Yogi Adityanath defended his administration's records and accused SP of tarnishing the image of Prayagraj and the nation itself, emphasizing the unbiased distribution of state funds under his governance and the establishment of medical colleges across every district.
