Senior Congress leader V D Satheesan has categorically dismissed speculations regarding a possible leadership change in the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). Addressing the media, Satheesan clarified that no discussions are currently taking place about replacing K Sudhakaran as the KPCC chief.
During a press meet, Satheesan emphasized that any decision to reorganize the party's leadership rests with the Congress high command. He highlighted that Kerala’s Congress leaders recently attended a meeting in Delhi to discuss forthcoming assembly elections in various states, quelling rumors of discontent within the state unit.
Satheesan's statements followed support from senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who also endorsed Sudhakaran's leadership, stating that any change would be decided by the party's central command when deemed necessary.
