In a significant display of unity, prominent Muslim clerics in Uttar Pradesh have praised the Indian armed forces for their precision strikes on terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The clerics described these strikes as a fitting response to the Pahalgam massacre.
Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali highlighted the operation, dubbed 'Operation Sindoor', as necessary and commendable, noting that it provides solace to the families of the 26 innocent victims killed in Pahalgam. He emphasized that such actions are crucial in demoralizing terrorist outfits.
Support for the military operation was widespread, with Maulana Yasoob Abbas and Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi extending congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Clerics from various regions, including Barabanki and Muzaffarnagar, celebrated the success of the strikes, signaling unified national support for India's defense efforts.
