Kejriwal Cancels Goa Visit Amid India-Pakistan Tensions

Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) national convenor, has called off his planned visit to Goa, citing mounting military tension between India and Pakistan as the primary reason. The announcement was made by Amit Palekar, the president of AAP's Goa unit, in a press meet on Friday.

Kejriwal will instead focus on Punjab, where heightened security concerns have surfaced following incidents of shelling in districts bordering Pakistan. Palekar emphasized the importance of Kejriwal's presence in Punjab, where the AAP currently holds governmental authority.

The AAP chief had been slated to visit Goa for several events, including a visit to the Shree Lairai Temple at Shirgao and inaugurating a new party office in Santa Cruz. These plans have been put on hold as Kejriwal attends to pressing matters in Punjab.
