In a display of growing discontent, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) supporters protested against Andhra Pradesh's ruling TDP-led NDA government, accusing it of reneging on its election promise to provide a monthly ₹3,000 unemployment allowance.
The coordinated demonstrations, labeled 'Yuvatha Poru', took place in major cities including Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry, aiming to spotlight youth unemployment and government inaction.
YSRCP leaders decried the government's inaction, claiming that despite promises, no job opportunities have materialized and alleging that key officials in Nara Chandrababu Naidu's administration have failed to deliver a job calendar.
