In a strategic move ahead of Bihar's assembly polls, Congress is set to hold a crucial working committee meeting in the state on September 24. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge and prominent leader Rahul Gandhi will attend, signaling a renewed focus on the region.
AICC Bihar in-charge, Krishna Allavaru, emphasized the gravity of the meeting, dubbing it the 'second war of Independence.' He accused the ruling BJP of electoral malpractice and likened Prime Minister Modi to a student using unfair means to excel.
Historic Sadaqat Ashram, a significant venue where leaders like Mahatma Gandhi once deliberated, will host the meeting. The Congress is optimistic about alliance-building within the INDIA bloc, though talks are still in progress. The party's strategy for the upcoming elections is keenly awaited.
