In a fiery critique, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi following his remarks on Indian democracy delivered in Colombia. Bhandari characterized Gandhi as 'anti-India,' suggesting that his political actions were influenced by foreign entities.
Ramping up his allegations, Bhandari accused the Gandhi family of keeping India impoverished. He asserted that Rahul Gandhi's statements against India's democratic advancements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi stemmed from envy and repulsion, a stark contrast to India's emerging status as a global leader with a four trillion-dollar economy.
Conversely, Rahul Gandhi, speaking at EIA University in Colombia, criticized the Narendra Modi government for what he described as an attack on India's democratic structure. Emphasizing India's cultural and religious diversity, Gandhi argued that ensuring democracy is pivotal for preserving national unity and integrity.
