Trump calls vote on global carbon tax for shipping industry intolerable

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he is outraged that the International Maritime Organization will vote this week on whether to impose a carbon emissions price on global shipping.

"The United States will NOT stand for this Global Green New Scam Tax on Shipping, and will not adhere to it in any way, shape or form", he said in a Truth Social post.
