Despite no immediate comment from the BJP, Delhi initiated cloud seeding after 53 years due to escalating pollution, as weather forecasts ruled out natural rain. Trials took place across several city areas, with further sessions planned.

Delhi Environment Minister stressed that a successful operation could herald a historic shift in precipitation methods. However, Saurabh Bharadwaj of AAP accused the BJP of deceit, citing no rainfall upon cloud seeding attempts.
