European Union leaders are scheduled to gather on Monday at 0930 GMT to deliberate over the current situation in Ukraine. This meeting will take place on the sidelines of the EU-African Union summit in Luanda, as per a spokesperson for European Council President Antonio Costa.
Given the significance of the discussions, leaders who are not attending the summit physically have received invitations to join via video conference. The European Council aims to ensure comprehensive representation and dialogue on the matter.
