A man has been detained following accusations of posting objectionable comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on social media platforms, authorities reported on Friday.
Nitin Kumar, a Circle Officer, stated that a 24-year-old from Bajaria area, identified as Mohammad Taj, was named in a case registered under the Aonla police station's jurisdiction in Bareilly.
Authorities raided Taj's home on Friday, culminating in his arrest. Subsequently, he was brought before the court and placed in judicial custody, according to the police officer.
